On April 19, 2024, NIAD-QE held the third online meeting with quality assurance agencies in China and Korea, Education Quality Evaluation Agency of the Ministry of Education (EQEA) and Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) respectively, regarding "The CAMPUS Asia Common Quality Assurance Standards Project." At this third meeting, China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) and Chinese Secretariat of CAMPUS Asia (CSCA) joined along.

Following the past two meetings where NIAD-QE, EQEA, and KCUE shared the purpose of developing the "Common Quality Assurance Standards" and exchanged opinions on the preliminary draft of the "Standards" prepared by NIAD-QE, NIAD-QE presented the outcomes of the questionnaire to the CAMPUS Asia consortiums (Mode 3)-conducted from July to September 2023-and the working draft of the "Standards" revised based on the questionnaire outcomes. The participant agencies contributed valuable comments and made beneficial discussions for polishing the "Standards."

The topic then went on to the Consortium Interview Survey, which is planned to be conducted from the fall of 2024 onwards. The purpose of this survey is to support consortiums in further enhancing quality of their programs by providing experts' feedback obtained from the surveys. Opinions on the implementation outline of the survey were exchanged among the participant agencies. The survey results will also be taken into consideration in the process of refining the draft of the "Standards."

NIAD-QE will continue to proceed with the project by closely collaborating with EQEA and KCUE towards finalizing the "Common Quality Assurance Standards."

The third online meeting with EQEA and KCUE on April 19, 2024
