The "Common Quality Assurance Standards" has been finalized
As part of "The CAMPUS Asia Common Quality Assurance Standards Project," NIAD-QE has been developing the "Common Quality Assurance Standards with China (Education Quality Evaluation Agency of the Ministry of Education: EQEA) and Korea (Korean Council for University Education: KCUE) since 2021.
The development of the "Standards" began with a survey of prior documents, followed by the online questionnaire conducted among 20 consortiums of the CAMPUS Asia consortiums in Mode 3 on the "Standards (Preliminary Draft)," the interview survey conducted among "Standards (Draft)."The professional viewpoints and comments were provided by the experts and interviewed consortiums from Japan, China, and Korea.
Based on the feedback collected from these surveys, the three agencies have also conducted to refine the "Standards." At last, the "Common Quality Assurance Standards" was finalized in April, 2025.
The "Standards" consists of the fundamental principle and criteria 1 to 8.The "Standards" will be suggested to used it as a framework to enhance inter-university student exchanges and assist university consortiums for their autonomous and sustainable efforts with program improvement and quality assurance in Asia.
