The Third Meeting of the Expert Panel for the "CAMPUS Asia Common Quality Assurance Standards Project"
The Third Meeting of the Expert Panel for the "CAMPUS Asia Common Quality Assurance Standards Project" was held at the Takebashi Office of NIAD-QE on February 13, 2025.
This panel was established to obtain expert knowledge and insights on the development of the "Common Quality Assurance Standards."
In this third meeting, NIAD-QE reported on the results of the online interview surveys on the "Common Quality Assurance Standards (Draft)" conducted among four of the CAMPUS Asia consortiums in Mode 3 from November to December 2024. The panel members discussed ways to enhance the validity of the "Standards (Draft)" based on the opinions collected through the surveys from experts in Japan, China, and Korea, as well as from the interviewed consortiums. The comments collected from a questionnaire conducted earlier this summer on the consortiums adopted under the FY2019 Inter-University Exchange Project, "Japan-EU Joint Master Program," were also reported at the meeting. Furthermore, the panel discussed feedback to be provided to the four consortiums that cooperated in the interview surveys.
During the discussion, various opinions based on professional perspectives and practical experiences were exchanged in order to finalize the final draft of the "Standards" from the Japanese side to be presented to China and Korea, as well as the feedback for the four consortiums.
The panel confirmed to present the final draft of the "Standards" from the Japanese side to China and Korea, after reflecting the advice and opinions to the "Standards (Draft)" raised at the meeting. Additionally, the feedback to the four consortiums that cooperated in the interview surveys will be provided around April 2025.
